Mr. Peaches

Mr. Peaches was an idea I had for some design contest at work that I never entered. This was my original sketch, done with mechanical pencil over my lunchbreak, with no real idea of what a dog looks like (artists know what I mean: you think you know, you've lived with dogs for years, but you don't know what they actually LOOK like).

Painting, with colors, and putting it into an actual scene. New steps, for me.

I don't know how to paint, draw dogs, draw landscapes, OR put multiple figures in a scene together. But who cares! I'm doing it anyway.

It's not done completely, and probably never will be. The guy is supposed to be leaning back against the dog's chain (which is, as you can [not] see, invisible). There are other issues as well... but it was fun drawing buildings from imagination. =)
